Jasmine Durham, Founder of First Class Grounds

My love for coffee started at home. I have childhood memories of the comforting smell of my papa brewing his morning cup, always sneaking me a little taste. My love for travel came years later, when I had the life-changing opportunity to study abroad in Argentina during college.

First Class Grounds was born from those two passions: coffee and travel. But even more than that, it was inspired by the desire to make that kind of global experience more accessible for others. That’s why this brand doesn’t just serve great coffee — it gives back.

Through our scholarship initiative, we’re helping minority students access study abroad opportunities that can open up their world just like they did for me.
